Trainer's Profile:

Architect Donald M. Rattner helps individuals and organizations optimize creative performance by applying scientific research to the design of physical space. His most recent book is My Creative Space: How to Design Your Home to Stimulate Ideas and Spark Innovation, 48 Science-based Techniques, which has won three awards and been ranked an Amazon bestseller.

He has also written for numerous print and online channels, including Work Design Magazine, The Startup, and Better Humans. Educator and practitioner as well as author, Rattner has taught at the University of Illinois, New York Academy of Art, New York University, and Parsons School of Design. Speaking venues include the Creative Problem Solving Institute, Creative Mornings, NeoCon, conferences, libraries, and webinars.

His work has been featured on CNN, in such publications as The New York Times, Robb Report, and Builder, and on numerous podcasts. Rattner holds a Bachelor’s from Columbia and a Masters of Architecture from Princeton.

Daniel Chua is Founder and Chief Executive of AONIA, a Strategic Events and Communications agency that has supported a distinguished portfolio of clients including Fortune 500 firms and government agencies to Engage, Energise and Empower stakeholders worldwide through impactful and transformative experiences since 2002.

A consummate communicator and events professional , Daniel has conceptualised and delivered Branding and Integrated Marketing campaigns, and created Events ranging from Meetings & Incentives to Luxury product launches. A Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) who has architectured many successful Events, he has also received accolades as an effective Speaker, Master-of-Ceremonies and Moderator in countries including China, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

Passionate about imparting lessons gleaned from  his  practical  work  experiences to others through Professional Capabilities Development programmes, he authored and delivers the Professional Events Management Course (PEvM) for SACEOS, accredited by the Events Industries Council (EIC), and has been an  adjunct lecturer with SHATEC since June 2020. 

A Vice-President for SACEOS (2013-2019), he conceived the Singapore MICE Challenge, growing since 2014 as a platform for youth development, in partnership with the PCMA and Institutes of Higher Education in Singapore. He continues to volunteer his time as a member of the Human Resources Development sub-committee of SACEOS, in collaboration with Workforce Singapore (WSG) to better the status quo of HR development for the Business Events industry in Singapore. He is a recipient of the inaugural AFECA Young Professional Award (2015).
