Introduction

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is the future of Google Analytics, released in 2020 and set to replace the current Universal Analytics which is being retired on 1 July 2023. This course will walk you through the platform architecture and key reports of GA4.

Learn how to install Google Tag Manager (GTM) on a website, and configure it to install GA4, the latest generation of digital analytics for your business.

We will also cover the fundamentals of Universal Analytics (UA), the differences between UA and GA4 and how to migrate from UA to GA4.

Google Tag Manager is a tag management system that allows you to quickly and easily update configuration settings and related code fragments collectively known as tags on your website or mobile app. 

Once the small segment of Tag Manager code has been added to your project, you can safely and easily deploy analytics and other marketing tag configurations from a web-based user interface.
