Introduction
This course is designed to help participants understand and apply the principles of effective event management. It will introduce participants to best practices from a practitioner's perspective and familiarise them with the 4-stage process for planning and implementing events successfully. Participants will also be introduced to the tools for analysing and managing events. As the number of events continues to grow in Singapore, so too has the need for trained professionals capable of planning and delivering events of various types including conferences, product launches, exhibitions, sporting events and networking and social events This program contributes to meeting this need by providing a grounding in the key skills and knowledge required to successfully project manage the full spectrum of business and public events.

The Trainer
Trainer's ProfileBefore pursuing his dreams to be an entrepreneur, Roger Wang has also been a civil servant and served as management in other industries like food health, plastics, oil & lubricant and many more. During his younger days, Roger has been an avid Karate enthusiast and held a black belt. In the 1980s Roger was also featured on television (Singapore Broadcasting Corporation) as the youngest debater to represent Ngee Ann Polytecnic in the national debating competition. His opponents were those from NUS; which included Mr Vivian Balakrishnan, Current Minster of State, Singapore and Ms Eleanor Wong.
Roger's specialities include development of marketing strategies, market research, creating break-through ideas, new product development, events and exhibition , branding, media plans, and marketing planning.
Roger holds appointments such as the President of the Marketing Institute of Singapore and the Marketing Institute of Singapore Business School, CEO of the Marketing Institute of Singapore Academy, Managing Director of Essential Werkz Pte Ltd, 2nd VP of Learning and Leadership Empowerment Academy of Teochew Business Federation Founding Committee, 1st VP of the Asia Marketing Federation and Head of the Education Committee of the Asia Marketing Federation.
