Trainer's Profile:
Dr Luuk van Breda has more than 35 years' experience running projects in the fields of Business Management, Project Development and Implementation. His work has taken him across all five continents working on projects ranging in size from USD 5 million to USD 350 million. In the Asian region, Dr Luuk van Breda has worked on projects for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and World Bank while stationed in Indonesia (5 years), Philippines (3 years), Thailand (3 years) and Singapore (10 years).
Dr Luuk has also worked on projects in the Middle East, Africa and South America. He has a deep understanding of regional markets and his professional experience with organisations of all sizes, from SMEs to large domestic and international corporates in both the private and public sector.
He has spent the last 4 years creating, developing and delivering a sophisticated and detailed training methodology built around the 'Four Pillars' of Communication, Negotiation Presentation and Listening Skills, which are aimed specifically at enhance performances of individuals, teams and organisations.
He is also an accomplished public speaker and highly experienced in running and organising discussion seminars on topics related to doing business in a rapidly changing world. Prior to moving into the financial world with the Asian Development Bank, Dr van Breda gained his formal academic qualifications in The Netherlands.
