Introduction

To live in harmony with the subtle influence of Qi in our homes and to expand the horizon of evaluation and/or marketing a property beyond the criteria of financials and accessibility by considering the aspect of the Chinese art of Feng Shui.

The Asian culture is imbibed with the practice of astrology in daily livelihood. It is common that clients would engage astrologers to give an opinion when they hunt for properties, be it for purchase or rental purposes. In the competitive age that we are currently living in, evaluating a property by Financial and Accessibility means is only a basic must for property buyers. To get more value out of the potential of a property, clients often consider the subtle effect and benefits from the astrological viewpoint when they hunt for properties. Clients would certainly want to live in harmony upon moving into their homes.

This course will equip students with a basic understanding of Feng Shui on properties, how Feng Shui affects its tenants and learns why different properties have a different effect on their users. Students can also be exposed to the basic lingo used by Feng Shui practitioners thereby giving them better knowledge of what these practitioners are doing when being engaged. People that are involved as a third party in premise hunting such as property consultants, agents, advisors, etc. will also be able to up their value-add rendered to their clients that require basic considerations for a property with general Feng Shui harmony while not engaging a full Feng Shui service. And to newcomers that are beginning to explore the subject of Feng Shui, this coursework will be a good start.

Course Content

The coursework comprises 2 parts:

i.            Part A covers the foundation of Feng Shui

-             Introduction of the ancient art of Chinese astrology

-             What Feng Shui is all about

-             Fundamental of the Feng Shui subject

-             Introduction to Chinese numerology

-             Technical jargon/terms used in Feng Shui

-             Basic Feng Shui technical formula

-             Introduction to the Chinese compass

 

ii.           Part B covers the simple application of Feng Shui

-             Introduction to effects to landforms on humans

-             Step by step assessment of basic Feng Shui of a property

-             Feng Shui formula commonly used in the society

-             Basic Feng Shui considerations in the practice of Feng Shui

-             Overview of how Feng Shui assessment is done

Trainer's Profile

Tim Chan is a qualified and experienced consultant and instructor in Chinese Metaphysics, specializing in BaZi, Feng Shui and Date Selection. He has been in this field for more than 15 years. His extensive knowledge in BaZi and Feng Shui has led him to teach both subjects in Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia and even in Myanmar. He also conducts workshops on these subjects. In his consultancy work, Classical Chinese Metaphysics is practised. This means no placement of objects such as pagodas, dragons, etc. is necessary.

He has also presented talks to corporate clients such as Dijaya Tropicana, Triumph, ANZ Bank, Courts Singapore, Hong Leong Finance, Sony Mobile, Marketing Institute of Singapore, Logitech, etc.

He also conducts workshops in areas of wealth, health, and relationships enhancement.

Aside from his Chinese Metaphysics qualifications, Tim Chan has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Hons) and MBA, with a background in Electrical Engineering consultancy and Corporate Sales in the telecommunication industry.
