Student Testimonials
“Sometimes its really very difficult to make a decision about your further education. Especially when you are not sure if the choice you make will be the right one. After my graduation from Portman University Singapore (in Business Studies), I decided to continue my studies at the Marketing Institute of Singapore in Northumbria University programme. During the first days at the university, I realized, luckily for me, that I had made a right choice. The programme offers a broad range of different courses in the area of Business and Marketing.
The Masters of Arts Marketing program was a very positive experience for me. I enjoying the course work very much and really appreciate the flexibility in the program to pursue one's own interest. I particularly liked that the program touched on all the many different aspects of Marketing. As the program is very intense, I appreciate the accelerated nature of the program and that if focused on techniques and knowledge directly applicable to working in industry. I found the program is very hands on, which is fun, considering Marketing Institute's excellent facilities. I believe that the Masters of Arts Marketing program will allow me to enhance my career quickly and effectively. This creates great opportunities to meet people from all over the world and work together during the academic year. The “culture clash” and my new international friends have helped me to better understand differences between us and to be more open to the surrounding world.
It is not always easy to leave everything behind in order to move to another country for study purposes. However, the last few months have been such an experience, that I would definitely advice everyone to take part in the NU programme in MIS campus! All the things you learn and all the people you meet will definitely have a positive influence on your life and your further career!”
